The differently sized spur gears ensure the woodpecker moves smoothly and at a reduced speed, even in stronger winds. Important: The whirligig should always be mounted horizontally and securely. You can either clamp the base in place or drill holes into the base and fasten it with screws. For wall mounting, we also offer our wall holder.
